SolanaAI had a whitepaper. An actual whitepaper. Twelve pages, two of which were genuine content and ten of which were a diagram that appeared to have been created in Microsoft Paint by someone who'd once seen a neural network in a movie. The premise: an AI that would "analyze memecoin sentiment in real time" to help investors make better decisions. The irony of an AI memecoin itself being a memecoin was apparently lost on everyone involved.

The whitepaper attracted institutional interest, in the sense that three accounts named things like "SolanaWhale_Real" tweeted about it enthusiastically. The market cap hit $18M — genuinely impressive for something whose entire technological foundation was a Python script that counted how many times "moon" appeared in Telegram messages.

The rug came on a Saturday afternoon, timed perfectly to when European markets were closing and American markets were distracted. The dev wallet drained $1.4M in liquidity in a single transaction. The AI never predicted this. Possibly because the AI was just a Python script. Possibly because the AI was the rug.
